Hi I'm David Crouch and welcome to my 2023 project, which is listening to as much music as I can from those musical artists who have recently departed, as a way of honouring their memory and remembering my own past
In many cases it is re-exploring music I have listened to in many years; in other cases it is discovering music and artists that I barely knew or didn't know at all.
There are two versions of the show: Current Departures which is recorded close to an artist's departure and is normally short and available only on demand. The Departures Lounge is a 2 hour episode that streams 3 times per week
